Hi! My name is Jessica.
I’ve been sewing for over 20 years, originally self taught then expanding my skills with formal sewing classes. I’ve sewn home decor items like pillows, small quilts, and curtains. I’ve also sewn more complex items like clothes for medieval reenactment, Halloween costumes, kids costumes and toys, and more. Most of my projects have been machine sewn, with quite a few of the patterns created and drafted to me.
In addition to sewing, I also know how to crochet, cross stitch, and do blackwork and other forms of hand embroidery. I’ve dabbled with knitting ( although I have a lot more to go to master it! ).
Basically, if there is a fabric and thread craft, I have played with it.
